Michael Hartman has been training and showing horses since childhood. He originates from Canada and is also a successful artist.

Lori Phelps has been involved with horses since childhood, and together Lori and Michael have owned and operated Hartman Equine Adventures since they met up in 1991.

Lori previously apprenticed at Gateway Arabians in Troutdale Oregon beginning in 1988, and now runs the breeding and marketing side of the business. Lori specializes in getting mares in foal, stallion care, and foaling out, and looks forward to each foaling season.

In addition to her hands-on work in the barn, Lori spends her time in the office assisting clients with sales and marketing needs. She's also an amature photographer, and enjoys talking photos of the horses when she can.
